This new project emerged from the constant need to respond to the children curiosity in <a href=\"https:\/\/portal.agrupajunqueira.pt\/\">Dr. Carlos Pinto Ferreira School<\/a>, who participated in the 1st CoAstro edition.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPequenos Astr\u00f3nomos\u201d, led by the CoAstrian teacher <a href=\"https:\/\/condominio.astro.up.pt\/?page_id=444\">Maria Julieta Ferreira<\/a>, intends to facilitate the teacher\u00b4s work with astronomy, in the classroom context, supported by astronomers from the <a href=\"http:\/\/planetario.up.pt\/pt\/\">Planet\u00e1rio do Porto &#8211; Centro Ci\u00eancia Viva<\/a> [Porto Planetarium &#8211; Ci\u00eancia Viva Center].<\/p>\n<p>This worthwhile initiative takes greater dimensions when it was considered as a project of the &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/escolaamiga.pt\/\">Escola Amiga da Crian\u00e7a<\/a> [Child Friendly School]&#8221;.
