The most important thing on my curriculum vitae is the fact that I´m a father of two children and I´m still able to maintain their mother as my wife. I am also fortunate to add a notion of extended family that even early losses cannot undo. For reasons that only psychiatry can explain, I always wanted to be a teacher. I achieved this goal and for almost 20 years I have been a middle and high school Biology-Geology teacher, deployed for extra-school education at CAUP (Center for Astrophysics of Oporto University), in the last of few years. At the same time, I am the author of textbooks on Natural Sciences (for different countries), teacher trainer (initial and continuing training programs), in several countries and more recently, researcher at IA (Institute of Astrophysics and Space Sciences) in Teaching and Dissemination science. With the Masters in Astronomy Teaching, I was able to enter in another universe where indeterminate time and space coexist with a Catholic faith, the passion for music and for football practice.
